Corporate / Overview Mr. Korybut is the Managing Partner of Plumtree Capital Management LLC.
From 1999 through 2004, Mr. Korybut held the position of President and Member of the Board of Directors of Sterling Financial Group of Companies, Inc, a Florida-based financial services firm with offices throughout the United States, Europe, and Latin America. His management expertise and strategic guidance enabled Sterling Financial to be recognized in 2002 and 2003 by Inc. Magazine as the 8th and 26th fastest growing privately-held company in the United States, respectively, and as the number one fastest growing privately-held company in the State of Florida over the same period.
While at Sterling Financial, Mr. Korybut founded and managed the Investment Banking and Equity Research divisions, which focused on raising capital, performing mergers and acquisitions, and writing proprietary research for micro and small-cap companies.
Over the course of his career in finance, Mr. Korybut has worked for some of the nation’s most respected investment banking firms. During the five years prior to Sterling Financial, he was a Vice President of Salomon Smith Barney, Inc. in New York City, where he worked with both private and public companies to raise capital through the international debt and equity markets.
Mr. Korybut received a BA from Georgetown University in 1988 and an MBA in finance from the University of Michigan Business School in 1994. In addition to his native English, Mr. Korybut speaks French, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is also a member of the National Investment Banking Association.
